Mr & Mrs Davison
Mr & Mrs Davison were recommended by friends, who had timber windows and doors installed by Timber Windows of Horndean & Winchester. The new entrance door was installed into a porch in the customers 1907 home. The porch was not original and not insulated so the customers wanted a good internal door to protect against the outside.
The customers were very keen to keep the original glass. The customers had the glass taken out, cleaned and encapsulated by a glass specialist. Mr & Mrs Davison stated that they can now clean the glass as it is now protected in the new encapsulated glass unit.
The customers opted for the door to be finished in Warwick stone externally, the internal frame colour to be Farrow & Ball all white and the internal sash to be Farrow & Ball Purbeck stone.
