What is a composite door?

Composite doors are often made up of a variety of materials to make them very strong and secure. Whilst some other composite doors may be made of PVC, insulating foam and glass reinforced plastic, Endurance Doors are made from a solid timber core to make them unbeatably strong.

How thick are Endurance Doors?

All Endurance Doors are 48mm thick, and they are made from 17 laminations of veneered lumber, to make them incredibly strong and secure.

Do composite doors warp?

Our composite doors don’t warp. The way in which Endurance composite doors are created means that they won’t have issues with warping due to the advanced manufacturing techniques and state of the art technology that we use.

How energy efficient are your doors?

Composite doors are awarded a U-value based on how well insulated they are, and the lower the number the better. All Endurance Doors have been designed and tested to achieve a U-value of 1.8, so you can be sure your new composite door will keep your home both secure and warm!

What colours are Endurance Doors available in?

There’s 18 different colours to choose from.

Can I have the inside and outside colour of the door different colours?

Our standard inside colour is white but you can choose to have the same colour inside and out or you can opt for one of the other colours in our range.

Can I paint my new composite door?

We don’t recommend painting Endurance Doors, and you shouldn’t need to. Our doors feature a tough 3D Laminate skin to give the effect of woodgrain timber, meaning its pretty much maintenance free. Please note if you choose to paint or spray your Endurance Door you will invalidate the warranty.

What is Secured by Design?

Secured By Design (SBD) is the UK Police flagship initiative supporting the principles of “designing out crime” through the use of effective crime prevention and security standards for a range of applications. All Endurance Doors carry Secured By Design accreditation so you can be confident they are truly safe and secure.
