"The service was wonderful, the installation team were great to have around as they were always polite and friendly"

Mr & Mrs Broadbent

Mr and Mrs Broadbent originally had timber windows and doors installed by Timber Windows Southern at their property near Winchester in 2021. The customers explained, “We wanted solid timber windows, so we shopped around and visited the showroom in town.”

In 2025, the customers undertook a rear extension project at their property and required additional windows and doors. Following their positive experience with the company in 2021, they returned to Timber Windows Southern to supply and install new windows and French doors for the extension.

The windows and doors installed in the original part of the property were finished internally and externally in White (RAL 9003). For the new extension, the customers selected a Straw (RAL 1013) paint finish, applied both internally and externally to the windows and French doors. Chrome hardware was chosen throughout to complement both the existing and new installations.

Using engineered timber keeps the beautiful and tactile qualities of traditional wood but avoids the innate expansion and contraction issues that can occur from using solid wood.  Engineered (multi-layered) timber is created by layering wood sections, with the grain of one section being layered in the opposing direction to the grain of its neighbour. Cleverly layering in this manner ensures any movement caused by absorption of moisture is evened out.

This leads to stronger, longer lasting windows and doors. Making sure they stay a perfect fit-just as the day they were installed.
