Mr & Mrs Tang

Located in the heart of the New Forest, Mr & Mrs Tang discovered our advertisement in a magazine and subsequently visited our Winchester showroom in search of new doors for their home.

After exploring the range, they selected doors finished in a light oak stain internally and externally.

The doors feature stainless steel hardware, with the customers choosing our popular ‘Vector’ door handles. Their front door design incorporates sandblasted glass, with a 10mm border thickness which is set within 20mm from the edge to create a clean and contemporary finish.

Mr & Mrs Tang also opted for a stable door, a practical choice ideal for both their pets and kitchen space. The design allows fresh air to flow through the home while keeping the lower half closed for safety and convenience.

Using engineered timber keeps the beautiful and tactile qualities of traditional wood but avoids the innate expansion and contraction issues that can occur from using solid wood.  Engineered (multi-layered) timber is created by layering wood sections, with the grain of one section being layered in the opposing direction to the grain of its neighbour. Cleverly layering in this manner ensures any movement caused by absorption of moisture is evened out.

This leads to stronger, longer lasting windows and doors. Making sure they stay a perfect fit-just as the day they were installed.
