Located on the outskirts of the market town of Romsey, Mr & Mrs Davies decided to have timber windows and doors installed throughout their brand new property.

Mr & Mrs Davies chose a beautiful traditional 'Bardwell' entrance door with a sidelight. The door sash is finished in Farrow & Ball 'Lichen'; the frame, cill and sidelight were finished in off white. The entrance door and sidelight both feature our etched star glass.

The customer had French doors installed to the rear of their property, without any astragal bars, to take advantage of the magnificent views they have of the countryside. The customers also chose the flush casement style for the windows, all of which have been painted in off white (RAL 9010).

Using engineered timber keeps the beautiful and tactile qualities of traditional wood but avoids the innate expansion and contraction issues that can occur from using solid wood.  Engineered (multi-layered) timber is created by layering wood sections, with the grain of one section being layered in the opposing direction to the grain of its neighbour.  Cleverly layering in this manner ensures any movement caused by absorption of moisture is evened out.

This leads to stronger, longer lasting windows and doors. Making sure they stay a perfect fit-just as the day they were installed.
