"The new door is a traditional style with modern features. Timber Windows Southern's service was excellent and the fitters really took their time with the installation."

Mr & Mrs Fisher

Mr & Mrs Fisher's property is nestled in the village of East Wellow, the customers decided to have a 'Kingston' style timber entrance door installed as it fits in with the style of their house. The new entrance door is finished in 'French grey - RAL 7032), this colour was selected by Mr & Mrs Fisher as they wanted to match the colour of the door to the inside of their porch.

The new door also features the signature bloom style glass from our signature stained glass collection. The collection is created by using hand lead to join together individual panes of coloured and textured glass. This handmade pane is then 'sandwiched' within a double glazed unit creating, in effect, triple glazing. The result is quite stunning with the depth, colour and texture of the traditional glasses providing a unique visual aesthetic.

Using engineered timber keeps the beautiful and tactile qualities of traditional wood but avoids the innate expansion and contraction issues that can occur from using solid wood.  Engineered (multi-layered) timber is created by layering wood sections, with the grain of one section being layered in the opposing direction to the grain of its neighbour.  Cleverly layering in this manner ensures any movement caused by absorption of moisture is evened out.

This leads to stronger, longer lasting windows and doors. Making sure they stay a perfect fit-just as the day they were installed.
