UPVC Windows

UPVC is an excellent, highly insulated material which requires little or no external maintenance. It is readily available, well tested and is usually the lowest cost option for replacement windows.

It is mainly seen in white but is also available in a wide range of colours in smooth UPVC or wood grain effect. The frames are stronger than wood, thanks to their UPVC construction with metal reinforcements where required.  The bright finish will never discolour, crack or flake and never needs painting.  We have a range of replacement UPVC windows to suit any home from any area and they will look as good as new even when 10+ years old.

UPVC is the most durable of all materials; it is strong, and tough.  Due to its resilience, UPVC is reliable and trustworthy when it comes to security.  The frames are constructed to the ultimate hardness making it difficult to break through or damage. UPVC is also a great insulator and provides high energy efficiency.  Its ability to keep heat in and sound out is also another reason to why UPVC is so popular.

Suited to the more modern house, UPVC will retain the character of your house, it is not recommended for listed buildings, heritage buildings and conservation areas.  The council will more than likely insist on using an alternative material.
